This is EXACTLY the information I was trying to look for yesterday. I can’t understand how it took me this long to find someone who write what I needed in plain a way I could understand. Thank you!

They are great as appitizers. After you have thoughly washed them, put then in a pot with a can of lager, a few cloves of garlic, a tablespoon of curry power, salt, a teaspoon of brown sugar and a splash of Worcester sauce. Boil them until they leave the shells easily and then rapidly boil away the liquor till almost dry; delicious!

You can find large snails in most parts of the US. I’m not quite sure why yours are so small. Many fine dining restaurants (especially French ones) will serve escargot.

We have little snails and I mean tiny compaired to the ones you all have in your Gardens so I don’t think I can find the big ones here to try them. What is it that they taste like?

I just picked a bunch of them off the sidewalk yesterday! A big rainstorm blew through and I’m all set too. Let us know how it turns out.
